Via Flickr:I saw him sitting on the corner by Union Station strumming his ukulele with his hat out on the sidewalk. I stopped to listen. When he finished his song, we started talking.
Zack is not homeless. In fact, he's on his way to make a gazillion dollars. He hails from Asheville, NC, just graduated from UNC with a degree in software engineering and is just passing through Chicago on his way to Seattle by train where he's going to look for a job.
We talked for a short while longer and he let me take some shots for the $2 Portrait project. I put the bills in his hat and wished him luck.
