On vacation this past week celebrating retirement, I was having a tough time with the triangle challenge.  Took this as my literal fall-back shot to keep the streak going.  Glad I didn't need it as my primary shot!

Abandoned

52Frames - Week 10 - Abandoned (Alternate)

Bombay Beach, CA has seen better days.  Once a thriving resort community on the eastern shore of the Salton Sea, the town is home to approximately 275 residents (per the last census) and a tremendous amount of disrepair and decay.  Much of the town has been abandoned since the Salton Sea is drying up and subject to agricultural runoff which has become toxic.  Some long-time residents remain and there is a budding artist community that would like to revive the town’s old glory.
