A project in design when I retired 4 years ago is now completed.  In a recent visit to the Bay Area, I had the opportunity to make this abstract from reality.

The Industrial City

During most of the 20th century, South San Francisco was an industrial powerhouse and proclaimed its stature through a mountaintop sign that cannot be missed along US101 or flying around SFO. Today however, South San Francisco is a mecca of biotechnology research & development, yet the old sign still remains.

It started with a great breakfast at a local South San Francisco diner and ended with an awful microwave dinner in my hotel room. Livin' large!!
