Haight-Ashbury, June 2013
Via Flickr:
Trying out my new found street photography skills from the Toronto workshop. I sought advice from the 3 workshop leaders as to which was the strongest image in a sequence of three shots. Of course, each had a different opinion.
This is 1st in the sequence and Neil's pick. I also leaned towards this one.

Now that the "entries" are all in, I would say that this one would be my pick as well. There is a lot going on here. To start with, the hands in the foreground engage the eye immediately, drawing the viewer into the core of the image. After having a good look around at the details, you get the unexpected bonus of the expression on the face of the woman to the left.
ReplyDeleteAnd Jeff, I gotta mention this...it took five minutes for one page of your blog to load from Flickr. I've converted my entire blog to direct uploads now.
