In Your Face
Via Flickr:
Powell Street
San Francisco, CA
We were standing around shooting photographs and comparing lenses when out of nowhere this woman approached my friend Brian and went off on an unintelligble rant. Brian kept his cool and I was able to get off a few shots. She was oblivious to my standing right next to him. We were dumbfounded because prior to her rant, neither of us had photographed her.

This is NOT a selective color shot; as seen on Market Street.
The guy pushing the baby stroller while checking out the scenery made this shot for me.
Submitted for ClicheSaturday. HCS!

Trying out my new found street photography skills from the Toronto workshop. I sought advice from the 3 workshop leaders as to which was the strongest image in a sequence of three shots. Of course, each had a different opinion.
This is 3rd in the sequence and Eric's pick. "Brilliant" is how he described it.

Some genius thought a nuclear power plant along Lake Michigan's shore was a good idea.
The Zion nuclear power plant was opened in 1973 and closed in 1998. It's operating license expires in November 2013 at which time a 13 year dismantling process will begin. Perhaps by 2026, the lakefront will be restored.
